Advanced realism, taught the way it is actually built: thinking first, technique second, competition last.
Design Thinking
How a competition-grade composition is actually planned: reading the body, flow, negative space, and why most pieces fail before the machine is switched on.
Realism Technique
Grey wash, black packing, tonal range and texture. The mechanics behind work that reads as photograph rather than drawing.
Live Demonstration
Cong Bui works a full piece in front of the room, narrating every decision as he makes it, then answers to the last question.
Supervised Practice
You work; he corrects. Hands-on time with direct feedback on machine control, depth, saturation and healing outcomes.
Competition Strategy
How conventions are judged, how to choose and stage a piece, portfolio and photography, and professional ethics. Certificate of completion issued.

This is not an apprenticeship. You should be tattooing professionally and looking to close the gap between competent and competition-grade.

You want to compete
Conventions are judged on criteria most artists never have explained to them. Day five is taught by someone who sits on the panel.

You work in realism, or want to
Grey wash, tonal range, saturation and healing outcomes. The whole week is built around the disciplines with the least room to hide.
